Feng Shui for a Baby’s Nursery
Feng shui is the Chinese way of arranging things and placing furniture in a house. Chinese people believe that it brings luck to homes and families and it affects the lives of people in many ways. It has many things to do with releasing positive or negative energy in a house, thus resulting to how lucky or unlucky people can get. Feng shui has found its way to nursery rooms, too. Feng shui suggests that by arranging the room according to how positive energy should flow will create a good outlook and environment for people, especially babies.
Unlike Western tradition, Chinese tradition believes that it is unlucky to prepare a baby’s room before the mother actually gives birth to a child because the deities might be mischievous to the infant. The baby, who is a new addition to the family, should move into a space that is new and specially prepared in the last few weeks before he arrives to your house.
